Laser Tattoo Removal
How it works
Laser tattoo removal works by using concentrated beams of light to break down the ink particles in a tattoo. The process involves targeting the tattoo with specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the tattoo pigment.
When the laser light is applied to the skin, it passes through the outer layers and is absorbed by the tattoo pigment. The energy from the laser causes the ink particles to heat up and shatter into smaller fragments.
Once the ink particles are broken down into smaller pieces, the body’s immune system recognizes them as foreign substances and works to remove them. Over time, the fragmented ink particles are gradually eliminated through the body’s natural processes, such as through the lymphatic system.
